413 custom POS & internal operations tools

I built custom POS systems and internal tools for 413 Cafezinho Premium and Grandma’s Sandwich. The work connected counter sales with inventory, shift reporting, branch workflows, and administration, using applications designed around each brand’s day-to-day operations.

01 / The operational need

Each brand needed software that matched its daily work

Cafezinho needed employee-facing sales and shift workflows alongside products, ingredients, and end-of-day reporting. Grandma’s Sandwich needed POS, branch operations, stock movement, supply orders, and role-specific staff access.

The broader software role also included inventory dashboards, reporting utilities, and admin panels that replaced manual spreadsheet workflows. One generic screen could not express both brands’ processes.

02 / The approach

Build around counter work, shifts, branches, and connectivity

I developed both systems end to end with SvelteKit and TypeScript, deploying them on Cloudflare Workers with D1. Cafezinho’s POS connects order handling, payment, shift activity, product and ingredient management, and end-of-day reports.

For Grandma’s Sandwich, offline use was a core requirement. The client stores sales locally with IndexedDB and Dexie.js and synchronizes them when the connection returns; branch context, supply orders, payment verification, and permissions support the wider workflow.

03 / Systems and internal tools

Bring sales, stock, and management work into purpose-built applications

The Cafezinho system combines counter sales with products, ingredients, shift logs, payment activity, and reporting. Its public storefront has since been retired, while the internal POS remains in use.

Grandma’s Sandwich has an offline-capable POS and broader branch operations platform. Inventory dashboards, reporting utilities, and admin panels extend the work beyond checkout and replace spreadsheet handoffs.

04 / What changed

Operational tasks now follow connected digital workflows

Staff and managers have custom applications for sales, inventory, reporting, and administration. Grandma’s Sandwich can keep recording sales while offline and sync them after connectivity returns.

The delivery included two deployed POS systems and internal tooling that replaced manual spreadsheet processes. Separate case studies describe the Cafezinho and Grandma’s Sandwich products in more detail.
