MolleyBolley salon operations

I built a desktop operations application for MolleyBolley, a beauty salon, to connect its customer queue with employee assignments, service records, and sales reporting.

MolleyBolley salon queue and staff workspace

01 / The problem

The salon needed to track service from arrival to completion

The salon needed a way to add waiting customers with their requested services, see who was available, and assign the next customer to an employee. Staff also needed to record what was actually completed, including services added or canceled during an appointment.

Without those steps in one workflow, the queue, employee status, and sales records could drift apart. The project write-up identifies customer service operations and reporting as the main scope.

02 / The approach

Treat assignment and service completion as linked states

I built the desktop interface around the queue and employee list. Adding a customer and requested services places them in the queue; assigning that customer moves them into the employee’s active service and updates the employee’s status.

At completion, staff confirm the final services rather than simply closing the visit. That step supports recording changes made while the customer was being served.

03 / The solution

Connect queue management to employee and sales records

The application includes customer queue management, employee access and role controls, service completion, and sales analysis. Managers can review daily service totals and customers served per employee, then export sales data to Excel for further analysis.

The project uses a desktop application rather than a web platform. Its screenshots show the salon workspace, employee management, and a sales-analysis workflow.

04 / What changed

Queue activity feeds service and reporting workflows

Staff can see waiting customers and active employee assignments in the application, then confirm delivered services and use the resulting records for analysis. Sales data can be exported rather than kept only inside the application.

The supplied screenshots show the salon workspace, employee management, and sales-analysis flow.
