01 / The context

What needed to change

A coffee shop needed software that joined employee workflows, product management, sales, and reporting in a mobile-friendly interface.

Working within real constraints

The interface needed to work on mobile devices and reflect real counter and shift operations. The current production footprint is intentionally POS-only.

02 / The work

What I built

  • Built POS, order, shift, and cash workflows in one application.
  • Added inventory and product management alongside day-to-day reporting.
  • Delivered an original customer ordering experience alongside the employee-facing system.

03 / Delivered capabilities

What the system enables

  • Employees can work through sales and shift tasks in one place.
  • Management can review payment breakdowns and cash movements in end-of-day reports.
  • The business retained its internal POS after retiring the public commerce site.

Tools & technologies

  • SvelteKit
  • TypeScript
  • Cloudflare Workers
  • D1
  • R2
  • PWA
Technical implementation

Built the application end to end using SvelteKit and Cloudflare Workers, with D1 for data and R2 for media. The retired public commerce domain is not presented as a currently operating storefront.
